(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale yellow colour with brief white head. Tart, fruity nose with notes of apricots. Fruity, lactic, tart taste with notes of peaches and mandarin. The fruit stays in the background. Tart finish with some bitterness (not sure it comes from hops). Dry, refreshing, very different beer.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook. Cloudy golden white body with a small frothy white head. Sweet lightly tart peach aroma. Lightly tart sugary peach flavor.

Cloudy pour from the Blind Tiger. Slightly tart aroma leads into a partly puckering and superbly quaffable brew. The touch of peach in the flavor really highlights the raw wheatiness and lactic acid present in this beer. Super tasty, well done.

Tap at Blind Tiger: Hazy light golden with no head. Mild aroma with a hint of grains, subtle crisp apricot suggestions. The body is light and crisp with a straight profile. Soft peach fruity notes give way toward a mild refreshing tartness you’d expect from a Berliner Weisse. There’s also late hints of brewing cereal/grains with a clean crisp finish. Simple stuff, but very drinkable.

[426-20070717] 12floz (w/ jerc). Musty cellared grapes or other fruit aroma, some light rubber and peach notes. Hazy, light yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Very sour but not intensely, muted peach flavour. Light-medium body, sourness fades nicely. Very interesting to try, love the sour-intensity fade effect.

Bottle: The aroma is grassy with some light musty lemony sourness and very faint peach. It pours a hazy/cloudy dull yellow with virtually no head. Some fizzy bubbles form during the pour, but they form a small head that lasts maybe 10 seconds. The flavor starts rather light with just a hint of sweetness. It’s followed by a nice lemon and faint peach tartness with faint grassy bitterness and spice in the finish. The peach is there, but it’s very faint or maybe just covered up by the lemony tartness. I’m not a peach fan, so I kind of expected to be turned off by this, but it’s rather tasty and refreshing. I really wish there was more of this style to sample. While not as good as the 1809, I see myself drinking this more often due to it’s price. This could be a regular beer of mine this summer.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a medium, white head that vanished in the time it took me to shoo the roommate’s cat out of the room. Way to go, Daphne the Cat! Smell: Faint, slightly musty aroma of damp hay and Del Monte canned peaches with an underlying tartness. Taste: Moderately tart flavors of wheat and peach juice. Slight saltiness along with a mild citrus taste on the crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Extremely light-bodied. Light carbonation. Drinkability: A peach of a thirst quencher!

2007 vintage bottled on 5/31/07. Pours to a hazy golden honey yellow body with a creamy dense white head and a nice lacing. The aroma is fresh peaches, light yeast, and light corn with some pale lager like malts. The flavor is a balanced grainy cereal and lightly tart peaches. Subtle lactic acid. Corn and peaches. The palate is lightly tart and highly acidic. Medium-light bodied and refreshing. TAP = my scores. REALLY damned good.
