| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 2, 2007 Bottle: Whitish yellow, hazy, looks like a Belgian Witbier, head is smallish, light and sudsy, spotty lacing.   Ever so slight sour peach nose.   Vaguely reminds me of those Peach gummies, yet tart instead of sweet.   Mmmmm, I can sum this beer up in one word, refreshing!   This is like a breath of fresh air.   Soft tart notes, a bit fruity, dry... much like a toned down lambic or something.   The fruit aspect is a nice touch, enough to notice but not enough to overpower.   Yeah, very refreshing and zesty.   Clean, very clean.   This would be a great Summer beverage.   Tart, dry, clean, hint of peach and lemon... can’t ask for much more.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   This one really worked for me.   Subtle, yet striking.   Well balanced too.   Good stuff!

Pours to a hazy golden honey yellow body with a creamy dense white head and a nice lacing. The aroma is fresh peaches, light yeast, and light corn with some pale lager like malts. The flavor is a balanced grainy cereal and lightly tart peaches. Subtle lactic acid. Corn and peaches. The palate is lightly tart and highly acidic. Medium-light bodied and refreshing.
TAP = my scores. REALLY damned good. Nate (2562), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Thanks to Justin. Mild wheaty aroma with a touch of peach smell, with a bit of funky nose and honey. Pale amber hazy with thin white lacing head. Light bodied with medium fizz. Starts tart and acidic with light peach flavor, mild wheat notes and some funk. Finish is tart but not harsh. Decent attempt at berliner weisse but too wheaty. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Nice hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. The head starts out insane, but fades very quickly in large bubbles - doesn’t look nice, but not horrible either. Aroma of peaches, malt, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and even a bit of concord grapes. Light-bodied; Very carbonated mouthful at first with potent and sour peaches complimenting the mild wheatiness coupled with yeastie flavours all with a bit of kick to them. Aftertaste shows the malt and sugars mixing together nicely, but all ends a bit short. Overall, a good beer, this is the first time i’ve had this style, but a good sweetness and sourness mix leaves a nice taste in the mouth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 18-November-2007. kramer (2510), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2007 12 oz bottle, Stateline Liquors. Pours a hazy straw yellow colored body under a one finger fizzy white head that retained as a thin covering. The aroma is a nice balance between the tart crisp wheat and a juicy peach fruitiness. Quite a bit of funkiness going on here. Bracingly tart sour wheat from front to back with a nice restrained peach sweetness. An undercurrent of yeast and cellar funk ties everything together. Mouthfeel is light bodied with great refreshing prickly fizzy carbonation. The tartness never gets overwhelming, and just sucks the saliva from the cheeks. Overall, I think that DFH really nailed this effort. Maybe not a true Berliner Weisse, but a great beer. The best beer from DFH in a very long time. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Fairly fizzy on the palate but light and refreshing and pretty nice.. True to the style and quite interesting.
