Aromas of slight peach and a little citrus. Flavor is slight peach as well but a lot of lemon tartness also. Some light grains too. Fairly fizzy on the palate but light and refreshing and pretty nice.. True to the style and quite interesting. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Pours with a hazy, yellowish, gold colored body and is topped by a frothy, meringue white head. The aroma is lightly tart, with a solid, wheat like, grainy aroma. The acidity leans towards / accentuates a nice fruitiness; notes of peaches, apricots and orange blossoms are noticeable as part of the fruit component.
Lightly tart, quite light bodied, actually the combination is really quite refreshing. The beer is very dry, yet the peach / fruit flavors are still noticeable. Almost more aromatic than fruit flavored. Lactic acid tasting, which at times is quite dry and bracing. At other times though, the nectar-like fruitiness adds a softness and a perceived sweetness which softens the total effect of this beer. Flavors of citrus-honey, orange blossoms, peaches & apricots all form layers of the tart fruit flavors found in this beer.
This is a really nice brew for the Summer season; light, refreshing, fruity, simplistic at times, it really captures the essence of a hot weather refresher. I could easily have drunk a couple pints of this on this 100°F + day. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Cereal Grains, Wheat and Peaches Left Out in the Open Air.... Aroma. Light to Medium Body...Subtle Silky Mouthfeel. Initially Carbonated, Then Develops a Juice Quality. Well Balanced Tartness and ’Aged’ Peach Flavor. Sweet Tart Ending. Some Wheaty Aftertaste and the Tartness Drops Off a Bit...Strictly to Style, It’s Not Nearly as Tart as it Should Be, But if we Assume That Wasn’t Exactly What DFH Was Pushing Towards..it’s a Very Enjoyable Fruit-Laden Berliner. Very Interesting Concoction. ’Our’ man at Dogfish Head is one brilliant, creative geek. Hats are Tipped. unclemattie (2442), Georgia, USA

Medium bodied. Quite nice and fairly refreshing. aracauna (2425), Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Pours a heavily hazed yellow. There is plenty of sediment in the bottle, but I only allowed a little to enter the glass. The head is fleeting. The fruit is fairly subtle. I don’t think I would have noticed the peach in the aroma or flavor if I weren’t looking for it. There’s a nice crisp tartness and a spritzy body. This would make for a nice summer beer. Aroma was tart lemons and light peach. The flavor was wheaty/bready, tart lemons, sour peaches, all working together nicely. I’d rather have one of these than those syrupey, shultheiss beers, as this at least stays tart, somewhat analogous to cantillon and lambics vs. lindeman’s and lambics. At-a-boys, DFH! Light, crisp and refreshing mouthfeel and finish. (Rating reflects multiple bottles, and two separate tap experiences, one at SL, the other at DFH in Rehobeth.) Re-rate, 8/08, in a horizontal against Kindl, 1809, and Bahnhof: Pretty solid stuff, right up there with 1809, except this of course had some peachy notes that made it hard to compare one on one. The tart peach was a great combo with the style, and as stated before, this is far superior to any syrup mix with a straight BWeisse. Slight bump up in numbers.
