| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Hazy white-yellow body, dense lasting stark white head. The aroma is lightly sweet, peach, lemon, wheat. The flavor is nice, lightly tart with a good nuttiness, the peach really adds a nice flavor twist while, thankfully, it is not overly sweet. The palate is light and crisp. Enjoyable and interesting. Glad to see that it is not an attempt at an Imperial Berliner Weisse, can you imagine! It just doesn’t blow me away. Sweet aroma, slight peach, a little tart. Same with the flavor. The peach shows through but its definitely not over the top. Nice carbonation and smooth and crisp on the mouth. Had back to back with 1809 and it didn’t quite stand up to it. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
