The flavor is sour lemon and wheat. It’s refreshing but not especially tasty. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

Fresh smelling. The taste is slightly sour, not really a sharp acidic sour, but more tart. Had a lot of wheat characters in it, the peach really stood out as well. Kind of fruity. Very interesting beer, dont think I’ve had anything quite like it. I can see why some people dont like it, but i thought it was interesting and pretty good. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Yellow color with a well developing, but then quickly diminishing foam. Nose shows some light malts, some funky character and lemon and peach aromas. Flavor is well balanced between the sourness and peach character. Goes down easy. I could see myself craving this once in awhile. DrnkMcDermott (1848), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

This has a light peach and malt liquor nose. Pours pale yellow, with a fizzy head that quickly flares out. Definitely a very tart peach flavor with some sour weiss character. Kind of zesty once you get into it. I splashed a bit a maraschino syrup into the last of it and found that gives it quite a nice kick, like a Berliner ought to. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2007 12 Oz Bottle. Poured into a Berliner Weisse Bowl. Aroma is a prickly tang of Indian coconut yogurt and fresh ceviche. A little subdued but with light twists of lime and cranberry. Pours a percolating broad bubbled clouded lemon yellow. Rocky head of sparse white. Flavor comes across as a fresh, popping lactic tang on wheat, with a delightful switch in the apricot nectar quality of the fruit. That rides out the backend for a nice ride. It could use much more acidity, body and umph. But the refreshing dry sparkling quality makes it dangerously quaffable. Somehow, edges of corner DMS and corn reek in a nip, drawing it down a touch. Finishes out on nectarine stones. LinusStick (1844), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Imagine my suprise after the first sip! On looking it up I am pleased to see I have just tried my first Berliner Weisse! Faint sour aroma. Pour was a cloudy murky dark yellow with no head. Taste was phenomenal. Sour and tart with hints of wheat and good carbonation. I tasted no peaches which is great because I hate them. I will buy a lot more of these to give to non craft beer drinkers to show how crazy and different beer can be. Awesome! kappldav123 (1841), Markkleeberg, Germany

Foam disappears very fast. Sourish and dry aroma. Starts very dry, modest fruity. The finish is very sourish. Reminds me of gose - really not bad! nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma of sourish yeast, citrus oil and light peach. Flavor is lemon juice with a hint of peach. Light body is astringent and mouth-puckering. About as complex as lemon juice with a slice of peach. Recommended pairing: This beer and Drano should work wonders on that nasty clog.
