Thanks, Jon! Pours cloudy yellow with a 3-4" head. I must wait for the head to die before filling the glass. The smell is a horribly strong plastic phenols. Totally yuck. I don’t want to taste it with that smell. No peach in the smell that’s for sure. I’m getting a headache after a few whiffs. Taste is sour, leans toward the dry side. Flavor and smell are hard to separate, so the smell brings the taste rating down. Overall: yuck. 1,4,4,2,6:1.7
Rerate. On tap at the Brick Store. Much, much, much better than the first time I tried it. Some peachy notes. A hint of sour. Light refreshing. Very good.7,3,7,3,16:3.6 beastiefan2k (1603), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 24, 2007 12 oz bottle poured into a scotch glass (its the closest thing I have to a bowl). Pours extremely pale and murky with a small head. Aroma is metallic and full of artificial sweetener. Light tartness coming from the wheat but nothing in the realm of what I expect from a Berliner Weisse. Taste is up front artificial peach sweetness followed by light wheat tartness and finishes with cheap macro corn. Light bodied with an above average carbonation, artificial sweetness sticks to the cheeks (which is nasty). Low bitterness, overall seems cheap and gets a low grade for effort. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Several bottles and on draught through a fresh peach filled randall at BCTC ’07. The randallized version was awesome. Poured a murky yellowish straw with a little, sudsy white lace. Nose is tart peaches, wheat, lemon juice. Flavor is similar to aroma and the peaches are much more present in the radallized version as opposed to the regular version. A refreshing beer and a very nice to see from dfh. I wish they would just brew the Festina Lente again. douglas88 (1602), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2008 Bottle thanks to ditmier. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. The aroma is quite tart; a strong sweet peach soaked in vodka. The taste is really dry with a ton of tartness and some strong peach currents. I like it, but there is a artifical nature to this beer that really limits it. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Nose is mild peach and a bit of sour funk. Taste is peach at first but quickly moves to a sour citrusy taste. Lighter mouth feel but lots of prickly carbonation. Much more sour than I anticipated, but I enjoy this one. Thanks G-Man!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2007 From a 12 oz. bottle, no freshness date, a mini-blurb along the right side of label, sampled in a pint glass.
An unfiltered straw blonde appearance, a large frothy white head that slowly dissipated into a thin layer of rocky suds, takes awhile for this to settle down.
Musty aromas at first, followed by cereal wheat maltiness and a light peach.
Crisp and prickly, but also has a smooth drinkability, light bodied, the peach taste is like biting into a green peach, tart with the fleshly juiciness, some lemony sourness too, cereal wheat malts, dryly tart and wheaty in the finish.
A good summer seasonal from DFH, goes great with the August heat and humidity.

A small aroma of ammonia and nothing. Taste of sour and a little peach. This light bodied brew is rather refreshing. Nice job. TheBeerOrg (1577), Kentucky, USA
