Jan 29, 2009 (11/13/08) Draught at Capones Restaurant in Norristown. Hazy pale yellow-golden color with a small white head. Aroma of peaches, some wheat, lactic acid and hints of citrus. Tart flavor with some peaches, yogurt, some funk and some lemony notes. Medium-bodied. Tasty and refreshing.

May 22, 2008 Pours a slight murky golden yellow with large carbonation bubbles and basically no head. Sour wheat & wet bread aroma. Ouch! thats tart... much more in your face than any other Berliner Weisse I’ve had... way more sweet for sure. Very sour as well, acidic. Very faint peach taste, a nice compliment flavor. There is not much funk to be found in this one... which is a big component of Berliner Weisses. Soooo sooo tart. A little bit of wheat in the aftertaste. More like a soda than a refined beer, the carbonation is quite crisp. Remember warhead candies?

Jul 1, 2007 Updated: Jul 10, 200712 oz bottle. Pour is a really cloudy yellow/gold. Not much of a head. Aroma is slightly peachy, but also sour. I see that the official style is listed as a berliner weisse, and the flavor profile has similarities to a weisse, but the fruit sweetness isn’t what I want in my berliner weisse. I do agree with the food pairings, fish or salad. Not too bad. Body is a little sharp carbonation and a tart puckering finish.

Jun 26, 2007 12 oz bottle shared with willblake. Poured a hazy light yellow with a small white head. Aroma was fresh peach with a slightly soapy odor in the background. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Flavor was very crisp and tart with just a hint of funkiness. Nice beer that I would drink again.

Jun 29, 2007 Sour citrus aroma, with bananas and peaches. Pours hazy yellow. MMM, tart right away, sour orange, grapefruit, and kumquats in the flavor, with sour peaches in the finish. Ends dry with a hairy tongue. Great berliner weisse although i don’t get a lot of peaches but its still a great beer.

Jun 4, 2007 Tried at the Brewery!!!! cloudy yellowish , good amount of fluffy white head, lots of citrus on the nose, lotsa wheat, nice and tart, Peach too nice beer, And so cool to have at the brewery and then later the same night at the brewpub.

Jun 24, 2008 Pour is a yellow cloudy with a brief white head. Yeast solids float for a while before settling. Aroma is floral hop and citrus. Very sour flavor with some vinegar. Peaches are faint as is wheat. Not as tart as expected but more smooth. An enjoyable beer in a one of my less than favored style.
