Lightly sour milk and peach. Mild tangy carb, medium light; a touch of creaminess. Taste is sour lemon and peach. Wheaty finish. SamGamgee (1456), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2009 12oz bottle. Pale yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some light lasting foam. The aroma is primarily an impression of peach yoghurt with some wheat crackers in the background. The flavor is dry and tart with the same yoghurt impression and a nice peachy fruitiness that is not sweet and annoying like I feared it might be. Light with ample carbonation. Feels good in the mouth for a light quaffer. A little clean for a berliner, but about as drinkable as possible. SuIIy (1453), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 21, 2007 Pours a tawny, pale yellow color w/ a very subdued semi creamy froth that only rises a tad to recede back from whince it came. Minimal residual lacing. Not much on the nose, just a touch of soured peach malt and a slight biscuiting. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers creating a pillowy soft and creamy texture. This brew is as dry as a bone. Not too sour though either. Theres a defined peach nectar character w/ lemony citrus rind and biscuits. The finish is short, tart and bone dry. It’s not offensive, nor is it as severe as Cuvee Rene but it is an aquired taste. This is a food beer. The commercial description is way off on the Wine comparable. It’s more like a Brut Champagne. Nothing about says Pinot Grigio. holdenn (1443), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2008 12 oz bottle from Discount Liquors, Milwaukee. I forgot the was a berliner weisse until I tried it and thought, this is a lot like Berliner Weisse. .... Pours a yellow protein infused white haze with a wispy white head. (typical of the style, so i’ll give it a 3 instead of a 2) Light tart aroma. Lots of old grain with lemon and peaches. That old grain though, is unappealing. Watery flavors. Carbonated peach water really. Has a little bit of a fake flavor to it, like equal or nutrasweet. But the more I drink it, its not just carbonated peach water. Slight tartness and a wheat/grain notes make it pretty interesting. Although I’ve rated most Berliner Weisse’s pretty low b/c most of their parts (wheat, grain, often funky/dirty) aren’t great (not to mention they are not pretty). But overall there is something extremely refreshing, tart, funky, and interesting that a really like in a sessionable beer. dchmela (1440), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Pours cloudy pale gold, with a very bubbly thick white head. Sour bitter peach aroma. Taste is dry, sour, peachy, and refreshing. Very easy to drinking for something so sour. While not the usual over the top beer from Dogfish, an interesting spin on a long forgotten style. While some people may be turned off by this, I give DFH credit for trying something a little daring. robinvboyer (1429), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

aroma is VERY VERY slight peach, and some sour funk. flavour is tart, and slightly sour with a touch of sweetness, and i wouldn’t say its peach. I"m getting a mealy, grainy aftertaste. This is more of a sour wattery german hefe. Its decent and drinkable, but i’m not getting any peach at all nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2008 I’m not usually big on fruit beers, but Dogfish Head seems to do an excellent job brewing these (Actually they do an excellent job with just about everything). This beer poured a light gold color with little head and little lacing. Aroma is, you guessed it, peach. Not too heavy though. Taste was crisp and tart. This beer is definately a summer staple in my fridge. Great Dogfish brew.
