Bottle. Pleasant aroma of malt, lacto funk and some mild peach notes. Pours a light hazy gold with a small bright white head. Mild crisp sourness with a hint of peach and apricot notes on the palate. Quite refreshing. Medium, creamy body with crisp carbonation. I like it! Insanely drinkable.

Grainey wheat aroma, with only the slightest hint of peach, really can’t pick up on the oncoming tartness in the aroma, but ,then there it is, big ol’ lemony peach tartness, with a big grainey finish, not as tart as the German versions, has a very satisfying thirst quenching effect

Thick whitish golden pour that lets a little shadow through. A heavy hit of wild yeast aroma with mild lemon, wet wood, crisp mint and a quiet hint of peach. Slightly sugary. For taste this strikes a great balance of puckering-tart and cleansing-crisp. A mite oversweet in a blend of lemonade, white grape and peach flavors. Pixie stick sugar and a hint of heather flowers. Very crisp - almost papery. Finishes with a warm flourish of green apple crisp and few more drops of lemon juice. Dry. Really a great refresher, though it could stand for just a little less sweetness.

This is one I’ve been looking forward to since I first heard of it. For lack of a better word, it’s peach colored with a decent white head that disappears rather quick. Sourdough aroma with lots of lemon peel. For me, the taste is dominated but sour bread and lemon notes with the peach just a whisper in the aftertaste. As expected, this lower alcohol offering is all about being subtle and I think it works really well. The lively but not overzealous carbonation works perfectly to aid in the thirst quenching quality that this brew has in spades. Very good work.

Bottle courtesy Taverner. No exaggeration, the nose is dog crap. I have a dog. I know the smell. The flavor is very sour peaches, but the only good thing about this beer, it evolves several times over to nutty characteristics, to smooth oak flavor. The finish is SO much better than anything else about this beer.

bottle....aroma: smells a lot like a white wine with some subtle hints of peaches. almost resembled a sweet cider.....appearance: light golden brown, closer to a yellowish tint. thins white head and semi-transparent....taste: bitter, cidery, and very dry disposition. very similar to a tamed down white wine with hints of peach. very drinkable and the tartness makes it very refreshing. perfect on a warm summer day or any day for that matter. i would def recommend this to a person that enjoys wine as well.

Aroma is a sour fruity scent. Color is a hazy pale yellow with very good carbonation but no head. Taste is sharp and fruity. Starting with a light body it goes down with a sharp feel. Finish comes in with a crisp sweetness that has a slight peach taste to it. After taste is tart and dry. This is the first Berliner Weisse I have had and after some research this is an excellent one. It tasty, refreshing, somewhat complex and it fits what a Berliner Weisse should be
