Aroma of tropical fruit juice and tart esters. Very carbonated and attacked the palate nicely. Very sweet and fruity flavors and very sour towards the finish and an aftertaste of yeast. I could taste the peach a little, but definitely not over bearing which was good. Would have gotten a lot higher of a rating from me if it had even a tiny bit of a crown. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA

No head at all to speak of. The aroma is very mild - filled with a refreshing wheatiness paired with very soft notes of peach essence. The flavor is quite tart. The citrus bursts into your mouth. It is the most dominant character in this beer. It’s a little much for me, actually. It might be better for me if I had a syrup to pour into it! (I know, it’s a shameful thought...syrup in beer...oh well). radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Bottle. Aroma is slightly sweet with a nice hit of peaches. The flavor is pretty mild, a slight surprise from the usual Dogfish Head beers. It is tart, and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It went pretty well with my watermelon I was eating at the time. zathrus13 (1313), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Cloudy yellow, with a white head. Aroma is peach and citrus fruit. Flavor is mostly peach, with a bit of a sour ending. Thin palate. Not bad for a summer brew. Thanks to Dough77 for this bottle. BelgianBeerGal (1309), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy golden-yellow colour with a huge, foamy white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of peaches and white wine. Tart, sour peaches with a champagne-like finish. Interesting and rather enjoyable. Beerman6686 (1292), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2007 Bottle, courtesy of alexanderj. Very light cloudy blond pour, thin white head. Citrus (maybe peaches) and bananas and earthy malt in the aroma. Fizzy and grainy initial malt flavor, somewhat watery, with a sour fruit finish. I don’t think my peach was ripe. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 6, 2007 From a 12oz Bottle. Courtesy of CharlesDarwin. Pours a pale dandelion yellow color, mostly hazy, with a thin layer of small bubbled white foam. The peach notes come through softly in the nose, lying behind a grapey pinot grigio bouquet. Quite light and vinous, like a quenching summer wine. The wheat malt creamy characters come through as well, creating an additional level of aroma complexity. Light bodied, deceiving mouthfeel that’s both crisp with acidity and soft with wheaty malt. It’s actually very pleasing up front, with lots of acidic peaches softened by a nice, creamy wheat. Not overly sour or funky, allowing the lactic acidity to contribute mainly to the mouthfeel and refreshing drinkability. I was afraid this beer would be too peachy, but the fruit is actually not the focal point of the beer. Dry and refreshing. Like many DFH beers, an "imperial" rendition of the style, but unlike many other DFH beers, this actually works really well for me. This might be the best DFH beer I’ve had. Thanks, Tom!
