Hmmmm, this beer wasnt terrible, but not really that great. Aroma is wheaty with a very slight peachy sweetness to it. Flavor was refreshing, but not nearly as peachy as i expected. Ov erall the tart was not that sharp.

I’ll be a monkey’s uncle, a shade of gold/yelllow that looks appealing. Light haze, thin white head, mostly diminishing. Looks similar to cider but sedated. The aroma is sweet and fruity, with notes of peach, lemon, yeast, mild hops and wheat malt. Very soft, simple, nearing a perfumed level of sweetness but never crossing that thin line. The flavor is quite tart, wheaty, spicy and exciting. Sweet peaches and light apples mingle with light sourness that quickly succumbs to mild bitterness and moderate to high acidity. Wow, this is really well done. Carbonation is very prickly in the mouthfeel but seems appropriate and complimentary to the flavor profile. Finishes lemony, with peach flavor dropping off fast, acidic, balanced(that may be pushing it, though it’s neither too sweet nor too dry) and lightly bitter. A fun warm weather drink, zippy as hell. Bites where it’s enjoyable, like a good sour candy. Unfortunately, a third of the way through a pint, soda-like sweetness builds and sticks to the tongue, decreasing enjoyment due to an acidity and bitterness level too low to break it up. Score suffers because of this.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a large fizzy white head that diminishes quickly to a thin film. The aroma is medium sweet, noticeable peach, other citrus with a little bit of grandma’s house thrown in for good measure. The flavor is a combination of creamy medium sweetness with an acidic sourness that dominates the finish. I get subtle peach and citrus in the taste. I held off trying this one, but enjoy it more than I thought I would. Still, its not something I would drink regularly.

Pour is a nice hazy pale yellow. This has been sitting in the back of my fridge for a while, and I don’t think that has helped at all. This smells like the ol’ pale lager, with only a sliver of fruit in there. Flavor is really bitter, sour and tart. There isn’t much flavor beyond that bitter-lip-puckering feel. It has the after taste of a cheap pale lager. I really hope this one was past its prime, because it really was not enjoyable. And yes, after checking the bottle, bottled date of 5/5/08 makes me think that this one was a little old.

bottled. A very tart brew thats also very interesting. Sour lemon, grape and peach flavors and sparkling carbonation. Almost has a wine cooler feel to it combined with a weiss beer. Berliner Weisse are 2 for 2 with me.. very good, just wish they were easier to get ahold of. Second time I had this it was a bit less enjoyable notably too tart and sour -.3

short and quick thin white head. cloudy golden yellow body. aroma is under-ripe and tart white peaches in early spring. flavor is light, tart, stone fruits, and a bit astringent. an unusual anise flavor in the aftertaste. peachy-white under-ripe tartness in the finish. thanks Paul!

12oz bottle. Hazy straw gold color with nary a head and gentle carbonation. Aroma is sharp wheat, yeast, some funkiness, and a bit of lactic sourness. The aroma is mild. The taste is fruity upfront with a subtle peachiness and some barnyard funk, followed by some tart acidity that lingers into the finish. The sourness is not over the top, but present. On a whole, it is a restrained beer. Tasted cool it is seemingly simple, but as it warms, it gains some character. Easy to drink on a nice day, a nice fuitiness, a slight sourness and funkiness, and not a lot of alcohol.
