Dec 9, 2008 Tap at Pap. The beginners sour ale I reckon. Color and aroma are anemic though not unappealing. Flavor of peach is slight and tart like Erics Sour Ale. Not quite refreshing, but certainly not cloying or syrupy. Skol!

Apr 13, 2008 a berliner weisse? i guess i didn’t know what i was buying! a pale whitish-yellow liquid with a bit of yeast haze and a thin but steady stream of bubbles. ever-so-tart and peachy aroma, not quite sour - lightly malty and hardly hoppy. light-bodied and effervescent, and a mostly dry finish. not overly peachy - well-done.

May 14, 2008 Poured at the Lupulin Reunulin event at the Brickskellar. Cloudy, rosy, slightly hazy yellow with zero head. Aroma is sour, tart, wheaty, with some grapefruit and yogurt. Flavor is extremely tart, grapes, wheat, lemons and sweet tarts. Finish is overly sour. This is a little too tart, a little too much lacto flavor, and in typical DFH fashion goes a bit over the top.

Aug 8, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy golden in color with small fast disappearing head. Aroma is mostly of wheat. Taste is very sour, wheat and very lite peach.

Oct 24, 2009 bottle, pours a very light gold, thin white head. Apple skin and sour peach aroma. Wow does this taste great. Tart apple, kind of granny smith, with a light malt pop. High carbonation with a huge crisp mouthfeel.

Wheat and yeast nose with tones of peach zest. Body is a hazy yellow brown color with a white head. Sour/clean flavor of fruit (peach, white grapes) and wheat. Very light and refreshing.

Jul 30, 2007 Updated: Nov 1, 2007100th United States Rating: Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a super cloudy golden color with a very fizzy white head that slowly faded away. The aroma was grass, lemon, white grapes, and some bready wheat notes. The flavor was made up of white wine, lemon, and some light peach flavors. The mouthfeel was light and crisp with solid carbonation. This would make for an excellent summer drink on a hot afternoon. Light and refreshing. Overall, I found this to be another interesting experiment from Dogfish Head. I’m not sure that I would go out of my way to find this beer again, but it was nice to get to try it.
