Color and aroma are anemic though not unappealing. Flavor of peach is slight and tart like Erics Sour Ale. Not quite refreshing, but certainly not cloying or syrupy. Cloudy, rosy, slightly hazy yellow with zero head. Aroma is sour, tart, wheaty, with some grapefruit and yogurt. Flavor is extremely tart, grapes, wheat, lemons and sweet tarts. Finish is overly sour. This is a little too tart, a little too much lacto flavor, and in typical DFH fashion goes a bit over the top. LooseCannon (936), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Updated: Nov 1, 2007100th United States Rating: Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a super cloudy golden color with a very fizzy white head that slowly faded away. The aroma was grass, lemon, white grapes, and some bready wheat notes. The flavor was made up of white wine, lemon, and some light peach flavors. The mouthfeel was light and crisp with solid carbonation. This would make for an excellent summer drink on a hot afternoon. Light and refreshing. Overall, I found this to be another interesting experiment from Dogfish Head. I’m not sure that I would go out of my way to find this beer again, but it was nice to get to try it.
