Pours a fully clouded straw. Nose is mild with a slight metallic tone to it with a slight bit of wheat yeasty funk. The flavor is where it’s at here. Tart rules the day with an obvious peach influence with what seems like a fair amount of lemony goodness mixed in. Tart and smooth. Gives a very balanced flavor ride. Feel is a bit thin on the liquid with a nice biting carbonation. Overall extremely drinkable. It’s a damn shame I bought a four pack of this. Geez. What ever will I do with it.

12 oz bottle. Or three 12 oz bottles from New Beer Distrubutors in NYC. Put the bottles in some ice to get cold. Aroma is peach and citrus (lemon). Taste is sweet but not like a fruit beer, more constrained with some tartiness. This beer was very smooth and refreshing. Great!

Pours a cloudy light golden color. Aromas of light peach juice, yeast, and a hint of sweet malt. The flavor is balanced quite well, with sweet peach juice, bready yeast, and slightly sour malt. The finish is sour but not overpowering. I prefer this offering to the traditional syrup plus beer arrangement, as here you have slight sourness balanced with fresh fruit. Very enjoyable...

Bottle: Pours a very cloudy yellow with barely a white head that dissipates to a thin gel like cover. Aroma is tart and very fruity and notes of citrus, definitely can smell the peach. Flavor is slightly sweet and mild sourness with just hints of the peach flavor, and touches of the citrus. The body is light and slightly creamy with a slightly bready finish. Very thirst quenching.

This is a fantastic beer I thought. It is particularly bland looking, but the fruitiness in this beer is sharp and acidic, like a mild sour ale, and the vinous notes draw heavily on the more subtle flavors of dough, caramel malts, and sour bitter peach. Not necessarily complex, but I could drink a dozen of these and never grow tired of the crisp flavor.

Hazy pale peach color, very hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is beautifully tart and refreshing, slight hints of funk, white grapes, and the peach. Flavor is jaw clenchingly tart. Mostly a lemony white grape juice type of flavor with the peaches just poking their head out toward the end of the sip. I think it’s great that DFH did this, I think we need more representation of this style (only 16 berliner weisses in the database, 10 brewers total). This is very quenching and easy to drink.

ah, i am imagining this one in a glass in front of me, and that sour smell coming out of the glass, man i can’t wait till summer and this one comes out again. the aroma is very tart, pours cloudy yellow. the flavor is exactly what you want from a Berliner Weisse, sour and tart kind of like lemon juice, with this there is a slight peach flavor. i could drink these all day.
