Poured this into the closest glass I had to a "bowl" style glass. Looked a hazy yellowish with no head. Kind of Hoegaarden-esque. Smell was very underwhelming with some very faint perhaps peachy smells that I wouldn’t have picked up if I didn’t know what it was, along with an almost skunky yeast smell. Very unique to me as it was also my 1st of the style. Taste was dry very bland peachy flavor up front, followed by a noticeable tartness in the mouth and then a definite wheaty finish to it. Very different, and although drinkable, not the easiest beer to enjoy. Perhaps just the style, but this lacked almost any sweetness at all and as a result almost none of the flavors were brought out very well. Extremely mild and tart.
Rerate - Much more flavorful, and the fruitiness shined, and the tartness was very thirst quenching. Really enjoying this style now, and I liked the dry fruity complementing flavor to this style. Would like to have again.

Pours a cloudy unfiltered yellow color with a medium white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is light with faint peaches and limes. The flavor is sour forward with lemons, grass, and sour grapes. The mouthfeel is light and malty without being thin and watery; carbonation is lively and prickly. The finish is long with lingering sour grapes. Overall: I really loved this beer, this is a great summer beer. I have really been getting into sours lately so this really hit the spot. scrizzz (1300), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2008 some tart peach aroma with lemon as well. hazy soft yellow, seems darker gold near the top of the glass, and a hazier straw at the bottom. saints be praised! that’s good! (mind you, i used to do shots of lemon juice in my grandma’s kitchen) fiercely tart up front, matched quickly with the soft wheat, and finishes dry and clean, only to spike again with the next sip. i had mine with breakfast, you should too. adam7679 (6), Ringgold, Georgia, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Drank a four pack of these at a football tailgate. This is the perfect summer beer. It reminds me of Clearly Canadian peach. It doesn’t smell the best when you first open it. The taste is very peachy on the front and a sour aftertaste. This beer is much better than the DFH Aprihop. Overall, a nice summer refreshing beer. nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA

I shit you not! not much aroma but you can pick up a trace of the sweetness and peaches. The flavour is outstanding lots of fizz and peach all the way! and a sourness, not like a saison or jolly pumpkin, you know like sour bread. But, more like a sour patch kid or a crybaby gumball. It truely is remakeable. DFH gets better with evry beer I have they push the boundries on almost evry brew they make. This isnt world changing but godamn if it isnt unique and enjoyable. I have had this on tap but thought it was just as good in a bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color, not much head. Carbonated with a light texture. Flavor is a tart, peachy lemon flavor that I cant put exactly put my finger on. But overall a good summer time brew that I always look forward to!******UPDATE****** The more I have this, the more I like it. It is different then most beers. Light but still tasty, which makes it perfect for those hot days. It also introduced me to the world of Berliner Weisse beers. A summer time favorite for me that wont go out of style. machfive55 (231), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2009 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours slightly cloudy yellow with a bright white head that’s thick but also bubbly. The aroma is sweet, sour, and champagne with a touch of grape. The flavor is immediately sour then follows with some malt and a hint of yeast, all of which is quite nice. A nice drink leaves the mouth feeling dry and aching for more. I suppose the common complaint is that it’s not all that peachy, but who cares?!
