I wanted to give it perfect(er) scores because I will be purchasing my local retailers complete supply and consuming this beer regularly til its gone, but realzed it doesnt really deserve better scores on appearance and aroma so much. None the less I find this to be a fantastic summer drinker. Flavored like a peach sweettart with a splash of alcohol. Nose and flavor obviously peach with the zest of a lemon. bleeng (600), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

Nose of lemons and aromatics but where is the peach-who cares?? Acid and tart on the taste but supremely refreshing. Bitter, bitter, bitter...yummmmm. Wonderful beer. Bring it to Texas and I might forget Celis White... DirtyMartini (194), Los Angeles, Alabama, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 1, 2007 i love this beer. finally rating it after getting bottles in a few trades as well as my trip back east. exactly what i want in a summer beer...crisp and refreshing. a lovely tartness that cleanses the palate with just enough linger to know what youve been drinking. the peach is subdued...much more like something added to balance out the tartness as opposed to being a dominant flavor. this is my first berliner weisse style...and i would assume that the syrups you add are to do the same, add balance as opposed to flavoring the beer. love it. mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 20, 2007 I avoided this for a long time because I didn’t think it sounded very appealing, even if it sounded interesting. So i finally picked up a bottle and was very impressed. Cloudy straw color, mild peach aroma. Flavor is slightly tart with a nicely present, but not overpowering peach flavor. It was perfect after a nice long walk with the dog on a warm fall day. jeff789 (411), Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Pale yellow-roseish color with a very quickly expiring head... Faint aroma of peaches, possibly a bit of apple as well... Flavor of tart peaches comes through before a quite carbonated finish... This was by far my favorite beer of this past summer... I love sour ales, and for me there is nothing better than a light refreshing tart ale in the summer time... This fits the bill to a T...(also, of my friends, i was the only one who like this beer, which, for my money, makes this beer even more appealing to me) brownbeer (6), springfield, Missouri, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Oct 23, 2008 I had about a case and a half of this over the summer and couldn’t get enough. Had to drive about 6 hours to get and well worth it. Very much a berliner weisse, tart, refreshing, funky and tasty. thank you dogfish once again. thornecb (1799), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Pours bright gold into a Tumbler. Micro white head quickly subsides. Mild peach and necatine aromas. Sharp, dry, sour and refreshing. Slight peach flavors but neither sweet nor over-powering. Lasting dry wheat finish. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
