EBF 2007: Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma, had some peach, and light malts. Flavor, lightly tart peaches, and a sweetness to it. Very refreshing, soft carbonation. Pretty enjoyable.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a quarter inch head that fades rather quickly. There’s really no foam left, not even a ring, and due to this there’s absolutely no lacing. Smell; very musty, with some sour overtones. The peaches are a bit hard to detect at first, but as this warms they come out nicely. Taste; as with the smell this has a mustiness, mix with a sour/tartness. A bit of a sweetness comes out in the middle along with the peaches, and then fades back to sour in the finish. I wasn’t to sure I liked this on the first few sips, but it definitely grew on me by the time I was finished with my glass. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a bit of a bite from the tartness, and the drinkability is good, with the low abv only helping in that area.

12 oz. bottle pours an extra foamy huge head with some staying power. The aroma is decidedly less peachy than I expected. Taste is similarly not so peachy, but a very nice saltly sourness. Definitely my kind of sour ale. Overall, I wanted more peaches, many more.

Bottle. Aroma is slightly sweet with a nice hit of peaches. The flavor is pretty mild, a slight surprise from the usual Dogfish Head beers. It is tart, and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It went pretty well with my watermelon I was eating at the time.

From a 12 oz. bottle, no freshness date, a mini-blurb along the right side of label, sampled in a pint glass. An unfiltered straw blonde appearance, a large frothy white head that slowly dissipated into a thin layer of rocky suds, takes awhile for this to settle down. Musty aromas at first, followed by cereal wheat maltiness and a light peach. Crisp and prickly, but also has a smooth drinkability, light bodied, the peach taste is like biting into a green peach, tart with the fleshly juiciness, some lemony sourness too, cereal wheat malts, dryly tart and wheaty in the finish. A good summer seasonal from DFH, goes great with the August heat and humidity.

Bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a medium sized rocky white head. Aroma is tart peaches, lemon zest, apples. Flavor is light grains, peach, lemon zest, orange. Palate is light bodies, medium carbonation, finishes tart and very refreshing. This is not too bad.

Draught at Blind Tiger. Hazy yellow to amber color, like pineapple juice, with a fizzing head. Aroma faintly of peach, with some yogurt and butter cookie (?) NICE puckering tartness in this one, with a bit of peachiness to balance it out. Lactic tartness really dominates here...but not overbearing and actually refreshing (think of biting into a grapefruit wedge). A touch of fruity, peachy sweetness is just enough to cut into the lactic acidity, but which still leaves that nice tartness that is supposed to define the peculiar style here. That being said, I personally might take just a small additional dab of syrup if I was in Berlin, but basically the sourness to sweet ratio is still nicely proportioned in the finished product.

Very tart and refreshing. The peach flavor is light and noticeable but not overpowering. This is a great style and could replace lemonade as the staple go to drink on a hot summer day.
