Bottle. Pale straw colored body sits underneath a somewhat fizzy head that started a little over one finger high. Aromas are of champagne, peach, a little bit of a tart gueze like scent too. Flavor is remarkably tart with a touch of peach flavoring that comes and goes as the tastes develop. Every now and again there is a sour wheat presence. I really liked this... unlike anything I’ve had up to this point.

Tap. The bartender warns, "this ones really sour". OK, should I taste it first or just take the plunge. I dove. Pours a off-yellow with a light haze and a maybe 1/4" head. Nose is citric but no discernable peaches. Flavor I would describe as pleasently tart. Sour has a negative connotation. Refreshingly tart. A peach essence arrives about three quarters of the way through a sip, returning to the tart finish. I get more Sauvignon Blanc than the described comparable wine. I really like this one, very quenching and I enjoyed the slightly puckering tartness that this brew brings. Could definately bump up the peach experience so that it is more formidable.

Smoking. I was really suprised by this guy. Classic pour, white head fades to a cordon ring around the glass (a rocks glass for me) Light, hazy, yellow color with the slight streams of bubbles in the right places. Soury nose with a fragrant fresh cut peach turning more to the bitter skin. Nice vinous palate entry and a dry white peach fruit carries nicely on the weight of the wheat malt. Tart, acidic, refreshing finish. Damn tasty. Everything is nice balance, a fruit beer to trust.

Bottle from the Dunmore Deli, Dunmore, PA. Overall a really nice brew with no where near the sourness Lente had but enough to suffice with a mix of wheat, citrus, grapes, lemons, peaches and quite a bit of carbonation. Wine fans will probably dig this one, especially fans of whites. I like the acidity level but the palate could be a bit more refined.

On tap at Redlight Redlight. This beer pours a clearish hazy yellow and has an aroma of tart peaches with some citrus mixed in. This year the beer is remarkably refreshing and bolder than last year. It is pretty good, similar to a good wheat beer.

Sample at BCTC. Poured from a pitcher full of fresh peaches, so I’m not sure how much it affected the taste, but it was really good! Peachy throughout with hints of wheat on the nose. Very clean taste/finish. Would drink again.

Smells of sour peach, some notes of wheat. Very carbonated, almost like champagne. Very sour peach flavor, like it smells. Would be very refreshing on a hot summer day.

Pours with a really nice white head over a slightly hazy straw-golden body. Aroma of peaches. Simple and pure. Puckering sourness is a pleasant surprise. Flavor only whispers of peach. Clean finish. This is a style I am not yet accustomed to--I like it so far. Soft mouthfeel. Refreshing yet challenging at the same time. Good stuff.
