Minimal residual lacing. Not much on the nose, just a touch of soured peach malt and a slight biscuiting. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers creating a pillowy soft and creamy texture. This brew is as dry as a bone. Not too sour though either. Theres a defined peach nectar character w/ lemony citrus rind and biscuits. The finish is short, tart and bone dry. It’s not offensive, nor is it as severe as Cuvee Rene but it is an aquired taste. This is a food beer. The commercial description is way off on the Wine comparable. It’s more like a Brut Champagne. Nothing about says Pinot Grigio. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2007 12oz bottle, proudly purchased during my honeymoon (!!) from the first four-pack sold on the first day of bottle sales at the brewery in Milton. Perhaps the first bottle of this stuff sold. Rock on. Bottled on 05/24/07, purchased on 05/30/07. Pours a cloudy whitish-yellow color; fluffy white head with pleasant lacing. Watery peaches and citrus in the aroma; slightly wheaty / grainy. Medium mouthfeel: relaxed, citrusy tartness upfront, followed by creamy peach and light vanilla / toasty wheat notes; very drinkable and thirst-quenching, though slightly less dense and tart than the 1809 Berliner Weisse (the only other I’ve had). Medium, citrus and light wheat finish; hints of tart peach. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2008 An almost champagne aroma with hints of apple. Very clean golden pour with tight white head and lace that goes quickly. A very wine flavor that is a bit tart but smooth and refreshing. Carbonation is good and mouthfeel is solid. A pretty nice beer in an odd way. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Updated: Oct 18, 2007Pours a rather hazes yellowy pink, light with a large bubbled, fading white head. The nose is a bit peachy with the fruit, though there is a definite sharpness to the nose more resembling citrus. This seems to have a bit of that lactobacillus sort of funk, not to mention a bit of some wheaty esters. In the mouth, this is abit thin and perhaps a slight bit fizzy, but on a quencher like this, I actually sort of appreciate those aspects. Again, a bit wheaty, in the esters, but the lactobacillus takes the stager in terms of a slightly salty tartness. The presence of peach is there, perhaps slightly offsetting the sharpness, but not in an unpleasant way, perhaps reminiscent of the apricot in Aprihop, though more sweet and juicy. The finish is clean, with a nice quenching acidic bite. I could drink quite a few of these on a hot day. Beats lemonade hands down.

I see no pink! This is maybe a warm bleached bleh yellow. But some haze saves this. 1 point off there! But, over all, I gotta give this one more point. This is a fun beer. TheCheeseMan (539), Saint Cloud, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2007 I must confess that I have been ery eager to try this. Pours a very hazy yellow, with a thin hand that seems to vanish oh too quickly. Aroma is yeasty and sour, some fruit, but more of a citrus aroma. The peach becomes apparent when tasted, along with a nice tart finish. Very refreshing summer beer. Nice job. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Sparkling light opaque yellow. Subtle peach aroma. Very light and effervescent taste with a clean tartness to finish. I wouldn’t drink this too often but very good at whatever it’s trying to be. No off flavors detected. Tart peaches, grain, sweet malt, and a nice sour finish. Very tasty, refreshing, and enjoyable. Wish I had more of these, a great summer brew. rayg1 (442), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Had this because it was hot as hell today and needed something refreshing. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin bubbly white head. Aroma is a sweet peachy smell but yet also a bit sour. Taste is first a wave of sweet peach, then the tartness that is true to the style of berliner weisse. The best part about this beer is actually the aftertaste once the tartness has subsided, a full flavor of wheat lingers and actually a very rich finish. Enjoyable.
