Had a bottle as an after shift drink. Refreshing, hazy yet vibrant yellow bodied beer. Peachy, some tartness flavored Weisse. I enjoyed this light summertime offering from DFH.

Pours a heavily hazed yellow. There is plenty of sediment in the bottle, but I only allowed a little to enter the glass. The head is fleeting. The fruit is fairly subtle. I don’t think I would have noticed the peach in the aroma or flavor if I weren’t looking for it. There’s a nice crisp tartness and a spritzy body. This would make for a nice summer beer.

Thanks to Justin. Mild wheaty aroma with a touch of peach smell, with a bit of funky nose and honey. Pale amber hazy with thin white lacing head. Light bodied with medium fizz. Starts tart and acidic with light peach flavor, mild wheat notes and some funk. Finish is tart but not harsh. Decent attempt at berliner weisse but too wheaty.

12 oz bottle. Date code says bottled on 5/24/07. Hazy pale straw, with a thick creamy white head. Patchy lace.

Aroma is lightly sour with a touch of wheat.

Flavor is lemony and wheaty with a hint of peaches.

An interesting and tasty beer. Paired nicely with a couple pieces of Havarti cheese.

Bottle… Cloudy straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Very subtle, restrained aroma; I can only pick out the faintest note of peach puree. Pungent flavor with subtle peach and lemon nuances. Heavily acidic and citric with a very crisp hop bite. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, sour, refreshing finish. It sweetens up a bit as it warms and begins to present some unsavory corn and mash notes in the nose. I enjoyed it more when thoroughly chilled.

Bottle. Murky yellow body with a soapy white head. The aroma is slightly papery, vinous, and somewhat tart with contributions of lemon/citrus. Nice tart flavour profile with some sweet apple and peach notes. Refreshing and sufficiently complex for this style.

7/13/07: Bottle.
Wheat and yeast nose with tones of peach zest. Body is a hazy yellow brown color with a white head. Sour/clean flavor of fruit (peach, white grapes) and wheat. Very light and refreshing.
