7/13/07: Bottle.
Wheat and yeast nose with tones of peach zest. Body is a hazy yellow brown color with a white head. Sour/clean flavor of fruit (peach, white grapes) and wheat. Very light and refreshing.

12oz. bottle. Cloudy yellow/straw color with a small white head. Aroma of wheat malt, mild peach and a bit of grassiness. Flavor of the peach is again very mild, almost a cross between a peach and a lemon. Light lactic sourness makes this beer quite refreshing, but also tastes a wee bit like vomit. Luckily it is not there in the aftertaste. Overall, it is enjoyable, but a bit disappointing.

On tap at Moan and Dove in Mass., the no.1 rated bar in the country. Light and cloudy. Peach and wheat flavour. Bit of head and lace. Straight up peach flavour, above average carbonation. A bit fruit soda taste, medium or lighter mouthfeel.

12oz - Pungent aroma of wet musty malts, lemon and grassy hops. Pours cloudy yellow with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is stronger than I expected. Very tart lemon and peach with a cardboard malt finish. Palate is sour and crisp. Different and worth trying, but I don’t think I could drink two in a row.

Pours an unfiltered yellow with a fizzy white head. Mildly fruity aroma of oranges and peaches. Flavor...wow what a bite this beer has. Sour and tart at first, and extremely dry in the finish. Peachy and tangy....that’s about all i can get from the flavor. This is an interesting beer for me as it’s the only one like it that i’ve had.

Hmmm, interesting. Refreshing and light like ice tea. Unfortunately, not a beer I see drinking much of. Pretty sweet/sour. Kind of like a margarita, after one or two you’re ready for a beer. Glad I finally got to try it though.

Translucent and pale buffered gold in color with rapid sand storms rising from the bottom to fuel a velvety white head. Aroma adheres to fresh, doughy pastries with mandarins and lemon chiffon accents hinting at a peach cobbler characteristic. A smidgeon of lemony, cotton like cleanser comes through the Splenda-esque peach yogurt nose. Flavor grants us a sour, peachy vanilla watermelon trait. Cleansing to the palate. Separated biscuit layers conjure the bakery intonations, along with a peach crepe coming apart into two camps: one of flaky crescent toppings, the other one of bakers dough with fruit sauce. Effervescent and medium bodied, fairly delightful to toss around the mouth, finishing with a tart lemon rosemary marmalade jam upon a peach cranberry bread.

wow, really a berliner weisse? i would have pegged this for a fruit beer since the peach and lemon were overpowering. my notes read "funky peach, lemon, wheat, clove, and ginger, with some funky cheese and yeast" opaque yellow-orange color with white head.
