Aroma adheres to fresh, doughy pastries with mandarins and lemon chiffon accents hinting at a peach cobbler characteristic. A smidgeon of lemony, cotton like cleanser comes through the Splenda-esque peach yogurt nose. Flavor grants us a sour, peachy vanilla watermelon trait. Cleansing to the palate. Separated biscuit layers conjure the bakery intonations, along with a peach crepe coming apart into two camps: one of flaky crescent toppings, the other one of bakers dough with fruit sauce. Effervescent and medium bodied, fairly delightful to toss around the mouth, finishing with a tart lemon rosemary marmalade jam upon a peach cranberry bread. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

Smooth with light carbonation. Nice mildly sour pit fruit flavors with tart wheat mirrors the aroma. Not too bad... Draft@ Belmont Station’s Pucker Fest. shp555 (1683), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2007 Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is musty, tart fruit, and a hint of citrus. Flavor is some peach, some tartness, with a dry semi sweet finish. jcr (1153), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Light, tart and refreshing. This is the second Berliner Weisse style beer I have had and I enjoyed both. I appreciate Dogfish Head’s unique approach to brewing, though the dominate peach aroma and flavor masks anything else there may be in this beer. Pours a murky light yellow with a small white head. Aroma is filled with peaches. The flavor is tart peach — kind of like peach-flavored lemonade. Some sweetness in the background. Medium body ans slightly sticky, like lemonade. lampeno420 (321), Zeeland, Michigan, USA

Had to try it because ive never had a Berliner Weisse before, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice tart funkness in the nose and every sip. Not a whole lot of peach really, but it was there, and balanced the sourness nicely. A good grab for a summer brew that refreshes well, while keeping a good taste at the same time. Aromas of tart lemon and some peachy notes. Taste tart and sweet very wine-like. Definetely worth a try. phaleslu (514), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours a cloudy pale yellow gold color with a small white head that doesn’t last long. There isn’t much to the aroma, some peach, lemon citrus, skunk, and champagne. Nice tart flavor, with peach, lemon citrus, green grapes, lemon juice, and just a little straw and wheat for body. The body is still very light, with a tart, sweet, dry, and acidic mouthfeel. This is my first Berliner Weisse, an interesting introduction to the style.
