Split this between a friend while fishing. Had to try it because ive never had a Berliner Weisse before, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice tart funkness in the nose and every sip. Not a whole lot of peach really, but it was there, and balanced the sourness nicely. A good grab for a summer brew that refreshes well, while keeping a good taste at the same time.

From a bottle, pours a hazy copper with little to no head. Aromas of tart lemon and some peachy notes. Taste tart and sweet very wine-like. Definetely worth a try.

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a cloudy pale yellow gold color with a small white head that doesn’t last long. There isn’t much to the aroma, some peach, lemon citrus, skunk, and champagne. Nice tart flavor, with peach, lemon citrus, green grapes, lemon juice, and just a little straw and wheat for body. The body is still very light, with a tart, sweet, dry, and acidic mouthfeel. This is my first Berliner Weisse, an interesting introduction to the style.

Second beer from dogfish head i have tried, not bad at all, needs more alcohol as 4.5% is pretty low. Really tarty and strong carbonation. A little lighter on that might have helped. But not bad for 3 bucks a bottle.

Poured a hazy yellow with a small fizzy head. Taste is very sour at first with lots of peach flavor. More carbonation than expected. Overall pretty good, definitely different.

Bottle: Poured a golden yellow with not too much head. The aroma was of peaches and wheat. The flavor was a bit sour, peachy but crisp and refreshing. Another good brew from DFH.

Sour straw, biscuits, and spicy citrus nose. Hazy gold color, tiny head. Subtle soft peach sweet followed by floral sour-bitterness. Effervescent, slightly thin body, but extremely refreshing. A very pleasant slightly fruity sour ale...really tasty.
