Very tart totally cleanses your palate in one sip. Then follows with a nice mild peach flavor. Not exactly a sour peach, but more than a wit with peach. Almost a lambic quality in the yeast. Its different and thats a good thing. KornDogg (213), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

Mine had pretty much no head on it at all. It has an interesting aroma. Sour peaches, some spice, grassiness and maybe a touch of a champagne aroma. You had better like tart offerings if you are going to drink this one. The taste is mainly tart peaches, but not overly puckering. Some spiciness along with it. A very interesting and good beer. It went well with my crabcake sandwich that I had for lunch. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy wit-like yellow body. Acidic wheat and peach aroma with a very refreshing dry, tart wheat flavor with just a nuance of peach - nothing overbearing. Very quaffable, refreshing stuff. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Soft aromas of powdered peach, with hints of lemon and wheat. Lightly tart peach flavor throughout with backing notes of lemon and touches of earthy nuttiness. Light bodied (perfect for the style), medium carbonation, soft fruity finish. A very well done summer thirst quencher. So when can we bring Festina Lente back? Loved that version as well... | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy gold. Head disappears in the blink of an eye. Spotty foam and bubbles on the surface. Aroma is lemony and tart with grains, yeast and faint peach. Taste is very tart, Lots of lemon and yeast with the wheat coming through on the back end along with the peach notes. Subtle maltiness throughout. Body is light, bubbly, tart, acidic, dry and astringent. Make that very tart and astringent! Finishes with more lemon, tart fruits, big yeast, wheat and soft peach. To me the peach is barely detectable in my bottle. Nice beer. I can imagine this going well with the food suggestions in the description. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Draught at the brewpub in Rehoboth Beach with my Griffin Avenue crew. Lightly hazy, pale straw body with a silky, snow white head. Aroma of both fresh cut and canned peaches. Syrupy impression in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with good fruit character and very pleasant tartness. Nice wheat and subtle hay-like funk notes. Very well integrated. This is a really nice, creative interpretation of a Berliner Weisse.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2007 Draft @ Hop Devil. Cloudy gold/orange with no head to speak of. Nice mix of tart and sweet makes it easy drinking for the average gueuze drinker. For me they could have gone a bit bolder with the tartness. I like the flavor of the peaches thouh, as they add a nice freshness to this. Nicely done.
