12 oz bottle. This beer is but a shell of what the retired Festina Lente was. I had high hopes for this beer, but found it to be a big dissapointment. This beer pours to a hazy, pale yellow color, with a slight white head that fades, and a moderate carbonation. The nose really doesn’t have a whole lot going on, with light hints of peach aroma, and some grainy wheat. The palate is a touch tart, with some wheat malt flavor, and a touch of peach flavor. This beer finishes with some tart wheat malt, a touch of sourness, and then end dry. Not a bad beer, but hardly anything to write home about. This beer is nothing like a Berliner Weisse, and while it has some sourness, and ends dry, this beer isn’t close to that classic beer style. A nice summer refresher, and it would go well with lighter fare, but again, this beer was a let down for me.

Oct 12, 2008 An almost champagne aroma with hints of apple. Very clean golden pour with tight white head and lace that goes quickly. A very wine flavor that is a bit tart but smooth and refreshing. Carbonation is good and mouthfeel is solid. A pretty nice beer in an odd way.

Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Foggy, white pour with medium head. Very light aroma of wheat and peach with a touch of tartness. Upfront sour flavor, followed by some peach, citrus with an acidic bite in the finish.

Oct 3, 2008 Pours a light yellow color with minimal head. Flavors of peach and lemon, tastes more of lemon and hint of hops. Kind of disappointed in this actually, especially with it being part of the dogfish head brand.

Oct 3, 2008 Bottle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Pours a hazy yellow color with a carbonated white head. Nose is lactic, sour, unbaked bread, and the skin of white peaches. Taste is very tart and sweet with some wheat backbone and more of the white peaches. As a beer this is pleasant but as a berliner weisse it falls short because the crisp and acidic bite is missing.

Oct 1, 2008 Bottle from Liquor Max. Shared with ilovedarkbeer. Pours with a hazy yellow body with a frothy white head. Aroma is of wheat, tartness, and very faint peach. Taste is tart and a bit lactic with light, sweet peach. Lively carbonation. Not bad.
