Sampled from 12-oz bottle and shared by Badgerben. Pours a hazy burnt golden straw brew with a fizzy thin white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of candi sugar, golden grain malt, some tropical fruit, lemon zest, and a touch of peach. Taste is slightly tart, medium bodied, plenty of carbonation with some flavors of sugar, golden grain malt, some peach, lemon juice and a touch of tart apple. Finish is slightly dry with some tart character.

Aroma of peaches and sharp acid. Flavor is super-tart, with the wheat and peaches combining for an acidic, almost champagne mouthfeel. The tartness is great if you are in the mood for it, which I am, but if I wasn’t this would be an unpleasant beer at best. I really am having a tough time rating this one, so I will have to revisit it in a few weeks to try again. As it stands, here it is.

12oz bottle. hazy golden lemon color. fizzy white head fades fast. sour and acidic nose of peaches and lemon juice. very prickly carbonation hits the palate like champagne. tart and crisp with a sharp clean finish. fruit shows up as a refreshing twist. a fun summer beer or good alternative to a bellini.

I like Dogfish Head. A Great name, the labels are a designers dream, and their beer is generally ace. This one, is probably ace, but definitely not in my taste. It’s tart, can’t taste the peach, and I think I’ve grown small breast drinking it. It;s hazy and weak coloured. The nose is a bit rotten. It’s like sucking on a lemon. I’ve got some white peaches downstairs. I am considering adding them to this to see if I can get some of the supposed peach flavor. Wish me luck.

The bottle pours hazy dark straw color with a very slight pink tint, and bright white fizzy head that dissipates rapidly, no lacing. Barely detectable aromas a damp grains and citrus. It’s fairly carbed with bright and juicy citrus flavor. It’s tasty but lacks body and complexity. An easy drinker.
