75 cL bottle. Pours clear golden deep redish with a fully gone head. Aroma is dense dried and raisin fruity. Extremely sweet and sugarish aroma. Sweet raspberry and solid sweet flavoured overall. Dense alcohol presence and warming into a slight throat burning experience.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Very hazy red with almost no head. Aroma of sweet port and strawberry jam. Very sweet raspberry jam flavor with alcohol hidden beneath the sugar, and no connections to beer. Full body with loads of sugar. Ok dessert in small doses, but not a beer.

Bottle. Aroma of sugary sweet raspberry syrup and alchol. Flavor definitely more of raspberry syrup than fresh raspberries. Very hot; lots of alchol in the flavor. A decent beer but, considering what I paid for it, pretty disappointing. I’ve been told that a few years in a cellar does this beer a lot of good and I could definitely see that being the case.

Fort 2007. Tap Capital Ale House Innsbrook 08/31/2008. Big raspberry aroma with hints of dark fruits and wood. Cloudy orange amber with small white head. Medium body and full creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is rich raspberry syrup with some hot spicy alcohol. Finish is sweet with wood and more dark fruit. A small amount of this stuff will go a long way!!

Crushed with Jakebra. I know what it should taste like, and it’s called New Glarus Raspberry Tart, and it ain’t, aight?

Sampled at the Tampa Lowry Park Zoo WaZoo Festival. Unruly sweet and overpowering raspberry flavor--almost syruppy. Not for me.
