I feel like I wasted a lot of money on this one. The alcohol comes through pretty strong and gives it more of a champagne feel.

Reddish-pinkish-brown color and cloudy with not a whole lot of head. Smells like a raspberry tart. Tastes somewhat like a Belgian ale with sour raspberries with a lot of alcohol which maybe thows it off. Not really my thing.

Very overpowering on the alcohol in this brew. Avery nice color and decent aroma with a unique raspberry flavor that comes through nicely. This is a beer worth sharing with friends but not the best creation from Dog Fish but still pretty solid beer.

(bottle): Pours an amber brown color. Golden around the fringes. Creamy off-white head. Decent lacing, somewhat lasting. Very strong raspberry aroma, sugar, fizzy, some malts. Strong flavor, strong alcohol, whiskey? Some raspberries. Very hot. More mild as it warms up.

thanks to molias- big time raspberry flavor up front along with some fizzy carbonation. This settles into a more syrupy mouthfeel, with the booze more prominent as time goes on. Still, a very delicious and drinkable 18 percent. Really nice flavors.

I like it! Very nice aroma of fresh raspberries, alcohol, and brady or sherry. A small creamy off white head covers a hazy, peachy, amber body. Decent lacing. Taste starts of sweet and fruity then alcohol and bitterness follow. Medium body with a syrupy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Alcohol is controllable for an after dinner sipper. Will try to get another bottle!

Has surprising amount of maltiness considerig all the alcohol and fruit taste. I’m not much of fruit beer person, but this good over all beer, the alcohol definitely comes though though. I’d love to taste this after 12 - 18 months of aging to see if it cools down some.

Pours hazy and with a rich hue with a milky way pattern on top. Aroma of alcohol and raspberry. Tastes like a bowl of raspberries soaked in alcohol. Beneath the alcohol and the raspberry are endless layers of alcohol, raspberry, and acetone.
