Foggy, amber, ruby very thin white head. Aroma is raspberries, alcohol, toffee, caramel. Taste is caramel, toffee, light raspberries, but they sure don’t show up as much as I expected. Overall a ok beer, alcohol is hidden very well.

750 from mgumby10; Nose is of raspberries (WHAT ELSE) with a small hint of caramel malt, but faint; hazy copper orange with a medium cinnamon colored head; flavor is raspberries, moderate alcohol, and some background maltiness. It is a potent fruit beer, thought I had a WWS but the’re only 12 ozers!

Great color and a pungent aroma. Too sweet to be called beer. The finish was awful. It took forever to finish this stuff. There is much better out there for the price. I commend Dogfish for stepping out of the box, but to produce something that tastes like it came from a box is a major disappointment.

#500 with a PUNCH 750 all by myself wow. Pours out a copper red. with lots of bubbles. A very nice berry aroma. Tast of berry and THAT 18%. Pretty crazy.

poured a reddish amber color with plenty of carbonation. smells of berries and alcohol slightly tart. the alcohol is the first taste followed by the berries. wow this is big taste and i quite liked it. took a few sips to get over the strength of it but after that the flavor came through.

This was a must try with all the talk about this one. It pours with a red hue and has big notes of raspberries. The mouthfeel drives the heavy fruit flavor along with the base of a big ABV. Nice to try.

750 ml. Got a bottle from my pal Alan up at Knightly Spirits from November of 2005. The head was cloudy, off-white with quick dissipation. Strong raspberry aroma. The taste dug in hard with alcohol and berry with a hint of caramel. Not the most drinkable beer, but I enjoyed it. I shared with a friend and the high ABV still made me feel like I got hit by a cement truck.
