Bottle of the ’07. Smells like a boozy fruit cocktail. Tastes like a nice tawny port. Pretty wild stuff.

Pours cloudy copper, with a thin white head, some lacing. Smells of alcohol, honey, caramel, raspberries and hay. Wow, it’s strong. Medium, sour and dry. Tastes of caramel, alcohol, raspberries, and citrus, very sour. More citrus and some grass in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear red/amber colour with virtually no head. Heavy aroma of rasberry. Sweet flavor.

Pinky, rosy orange with a slight haze and a film of foam. Raspberries are all over this along with light Morello cherry notes. Nice and delicate. It tastes like a Victorian medicine. Sweet/bitter/herbal/rich. A little silly but wonderfully regressive. Hard to get your head around.

This was so much more interesting because this bottle appeared from nowhere in a closet I’ve never had beer in. I’m also 100% positive I did not buy it...for that I’m thankful. Cough syrup throughout, although that does diminish as it gets really warm. After an hour I almost enjoy it, and the raspberry ceases to be weird and tastes like actual fruit. No head to speak of, and the aroma is buried (or berried) in cough syrup.

Bottle at Ølbaren, 27-APR-2009. Hazy orange, no head. Aroma of fresh raspberries. No artificial taste or smell. Notable ABV. Great experience. Best ever fruitbeer I have tasted (that says nothing). I really enjoy this. Wellmade.

[1970-20090124] Tap. Strawberry fruit yeast aroma. Hazy, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Lots of acidic strawberry and a bit of nail polish in the flavour. Medium body is a boozy kick to the teeth. Fruity, fair.
