Deep golden color. Smell of bubble gum, alcohol, prunes some rasberries. Tastes like a dry wine. Tart, honey, malty, and a hint of rasberries. It was brewed with them but I cant taste it that much in here. Not one I would drink again. It was very high in alcohol and could taste it in every sip.

The appearance is a clean amber with a light head. The aroma is fruity and pleasant. The taste is like rasberries; a fruity and alchoholic taste. It’s too alchoholic for my taste, but still good, solid, and interesting.

Bottle. Unclear amber colour with a small head. Nice aroma of sourness and raspberries. Sweet flavour of raspberries and hints of heavy caramel. The alcohol is very well hidden.

Poured a very nice rosey pink color with a head that was somewhat surprising at these abv levels. Lacing was minimal, although light fingers showed up on the walls of the glass. The aroma was of light raspberries, but with some medicinal caution. Flavor was very well done, not too sweet, not overcome by raspberries, and the alcohol was very well hidden. I still feel like taking a wager on the fact this thing wasn’t 18%. In any event, the aftertaste is where the raspberries were dominant (it actually tasted like beer before the aftertaste, not fruit juice), and the after after taste left behind a lightly hopped finish, somewhat like a nice tripel: nice little zing after a thick and somewhat sweet malty base. Mouthfeel was carbonated and moderately bodied, but not ridiculously thick for what this is. I really liked this beer when all was said and done.

Amazing concoction. Great balance of fruity beverage and straight up beer. Nothing bothers me more than when brewers just add fruit flavor to beer to spice it up and make it appealing to women (I’m looking at you Harpoon UFO Raspberry). This is very well done, a great aroma and well balanced flavor. My only complaint was that the bottle seemed to run out too soon! I drank it while snacking on 72% cocao chocolate wafers and oh man did it bring out the flavor. I’m planning on saving the other bottle I bought for a while (ages with the best of ’em).

A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of raspberries, but also some fruity notes. The flavor is sweet again with strong notes of raspberries, combined with alcohol, that burns in the throat, and wood, leading to an end, where the raspberries lingers for a long time. The mouthfeel is thick like syrup.
