Feb 16, 2009 Bottle. Hazy redish body, with a tiny beige head. Aroma is raspberry, wild berries, and alcohol. Sweet flavor of raspberries and alcohol. The aftertaste is nice and sweet.

Feb 16, 2009 Bottle, shared by Hallinghansen. Pours an hazy red brown colour, with a medium beige head.
Aroma is sweet, blackcurrant, wild berry,raisin and wine gum.
Flavor is blackcurrant, cranberry and loads of alcohol! Way to much!
It has a nice aftertaste though, but I don’t wanna take another sip.

Feb 15, 2009 Deep red-orange clear beer with a small head. Sweet creamy smell of berries and prunes. Very strong alcohol taste and feel. Sweet flavour of berries and spices. Alcohol too dominating in the end.

aroma is fresh cherry, faint alc. mouldy.
flavor is alc, red berries, red fruits, alc. quite strong.
remarkably drinkable when i consider the alc. i wonder how they got abv so high. anyhow, more interesting than good.

Feb 10, 2009 FORT!!! Is the name of this robust fruity fruit basket of a brew. Its redish hue and rasberry flavor excited n teased my taste buds to the Na Na Na Na NEXT LEVEL!!!! Its small head made it a breeze to pour. All I can say is drink with a snifter n prepare to be FORTED AWAY!!!!!!

Feb 6, 2009 750ml, bottled 2008. Pours a reddish amber hue with a small off-white head. Aroma really is lovely with scores of sweet bread topped with raspberries. Body follows suit but is not nearly as complex, unabashedly raspberry liquor in flavor. I was impressed with this, but had a hard time enjoying it as I am with most raspberry flavored drinks (the last time I had raspberry wine I got food poisoning soon thereafter). Palate was smooth and soft, a good experience... could use a few years in the cellar.

Feb 4, 2009 Poured cloudy amber-red with a short pink head and thick, thick lacing. Lovely red rasberry aroma, malt, and alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, not sticky, and dry finish. Obvious sweet rasberry taste, but it is tempered by a caramel/earthy malt background. The sweetness did not overwhelm for me as it seemed to for others. However, the 18% alcohol is not masked completely. Some warmth, a fair amount of ethyl, combined giving it a dessert-wine/aperitif feel. Good, but next time will definitely have to share with more than just my brother in law.

Jan 31, 2009 Reddish-pinkish-brown color and cloudy with not a whole lot of head. Smells like a raspberry tart. Tastes somewhat like a Belgian ale with sour raspberries. Not really my thing.
