Nov 19, 2007 From a 12-oz. bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a bright golden hue with a minuscule white head. Nose of sticky honey and floral hops. Piny and biting. Malty sweetness and that certain IT quality I look for in imperials. Alcohol well hidden, though as this beer warms up, the boozy esters become more prevalent. Great brew. One of a kind.

Nov 14, 2007 Pours a clear golden with a big fluffy white head. Clove and banana aroma. Hops start out then leads to a sweet malts and alcohol dry finish.
Interesting beer.

Nov 13, 2007 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large long lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Huge aroma of fresh pilsner malt and a touch of floral hops. Taste is sweet fresh pilsner malt, floral hops, and a bit of alcohol. Medium full mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and a touch of alcohol warmth. Deserves a much higher rating. Very good.

Nov 12, 2007 From bottle : Pours a clear light gold color with a finger of white foamy head. Smell of dry hops and a touch of alcohol. Taste is very much dry hops, with a moderate amount of bitterness, and maybe even some malts on the way down. Medium bodied, and dry on the palate, pretty good, just nothing super special about this guy.

Nov 10, 2007 There is nothing that really jumps out at you from this beer. It is smooth and easy to drink, but it is nothing special. I would also say that it is a good representation of the Imperial Pilsner style but I have had better from Rock Bottom and Rouge.

Nov 5, 2007 Pale yellow body beneath a small white head. Could not descern anything in particular in the nose. Wisps of things but nothing fathomable. Highly carbonated and thin. Flavor was as non-descript as the aroma. Am surprised by the 87%ile rating.
