Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of grass, citrus, caramel, and floral hops. Flavor starts off sweet with hints of caramel and sweet malts. Finishes with the citrus and floral hops. Finish is slightly bitter and dry. I don’t get much of an alcohol warming even though it’s 9%. Much better then what I was expecting.

2007...Clear yellow golden hue with small creamy white lasting head, good lacing, sweet and hoppy nose, grassy taste, slight hop taste, distinctive malt, apricot tang sweet almost caramel aftertaste, not as stong as 9% would indicate but after a few you can feel it in your head, overall very smooth. I looked for this for months and it did not disappoint this is up there with Dogfish Head’s best.

Bottle labeled Golden Era (2007). Pours hazy gold, white head. Aroma is kiwi, citrus, grass, apricot. Flavor is drier and more bitter than the aroma lets on and is a definite plus for me. I detect hops, peanuts, grass, slight caramel.

A nice Eurpoean strong. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Strong hoppy aroma. Taste was sweet with malt and grass in the beginning but the beer changes pace during the swallow and gets hoppy and bitter. Semi dry aftertaste. No alcohol burn at all. I would have thought this beer was 6.5-7%. Good job!

Clear hoppy aroma on a white head. Golden yellow body. Strong hoppy aroma with a sweet aftertaste that quickly turns bitter. Malty lingering body. The best lager I’ve had so far. Makes we wanna go get some good solid foodand drink more.

Bottle Straw pour with thin microbubble head and decent lacing. Light aroma of hops, lemon and other citrus. Much thicker flavor follows with a bit of alcoholic bite and much maltier. Thick mouthfeel. I’m not a pils guy, but this is good for a pils.
