Pours a clear dark gold color with a small ring of white lace. Aroma of hops, malt, alcohol and some sweetness. The flavor has a sweetness that reminds me of maple syrup, there a decent balance of malt and hops but the alcohol is present. The body is light with a liquorous texture and soft carbonation.

not too impressed with this one, poured into clear plastic cup(it’s all I had) had a stronger bold yeastie/fruity presence than I thought, poured a dark yellow with whity frothy head, very strong on the front..

Golden shower bottle, this has an excellent balanced aroma of malts and hops. Very hoppy and a lot of sweetness throughout. A solid imperial pils that I would love to have again.

750ml bottle.
Pours a rich orange-amber with never-ending streams of huge bubbles that feed a ceaseless white head. Very dark for a pilsner, imperial or otherwise. Aroma is pleasant enough with rich piney, grapefruity hops and an intense malt sweetness that seems inappropriate for a pilsner, even if you throw the "imperial" adjective in front of it. Same complaint about the flavor: way, way too malty & sweet for a pilsner. Certainly there was sufficient hop bitterness for the style, about the only place where this beer resembled a pilsner in any sense. Palate is thick, again uncharacteristic for a pilsner, but I suppose that can be expected of an imperial pilsner. Interesting beer, but not reminiscent of a pilsner in practically any sense.

Very drinkable beer, even for 9%. Nothing great though. Throw it in six packs and ship it out and I’d make it a regular in my fridge for nights of mass consumption. Pours out, i get it, golden. Minimal fizzy white head. Malty sweet nose, flavor kind of dull. Mostly light hop, floral, sweetness.

Bottled. Dark golden in colour with a medium sized white head. Malty with notes of metal, pines, caramel, flowers, fruits, grapefruit and hops that leads to a somewhat dry finish.

Dark yellow colored, slightly cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Very rich aroma with flowers, hay and caramel. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is even richer with dominating sweetness, honey almost. Fruits, lemon, nice hops and flowers also there. Aftertaste has almost caramel with toffee. Nice brew indeed.

Bottled (thanks Degarth!). Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is US hops, hay and not much other exciting things. Flavour is the same along with a slight sting of alcohol.
