The aroma is a bit on the light side with notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, and fruit - especially oranges. The alcohol leaves a burn in the cheeks and the throat. Pours a clear, deep golden with a dense, yellowish head. Sweetish, malty nose. Very full-bodied with a very solid malt base and a discreet bitterness. When it comes to Imperial Pilseners this is definitely one of the better examples. 160607 omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Words: compared to harrold golden revolution
dfh is cloudy compared to crystal clear of the hr,
dfh has a much stronger aroma of spicy hops and sweet malt where the hr has a softer aroma with the same sweet malt but much lighter hops,
much more robust hoppy flavor in the dfh while the hr has a more traditional sweet malt and lighter balancing hops,
