| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2008 One of the best IBA’s I’ve ever had. Unfortunately for this beer, it was stuck between tasting Burton Baton and Midas Touch, which clouded my judgement a bit, but it was very good. esjaygee (1531), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2008 Clear brown with thin brown head. Heavy roasted malt aroma with caramelized sugar and nuts. Nutty taste of sweet malts, brown sugar, sweet malts and mild alcohol. Better than your average brown ale. Tripplebrew (493), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2008 No surprise from the guys at Dogfish Head. A complex mix of flavors all poured in a bottle for your enjoyment. A maple aroma with a caramel color, generous carbonation, with a small tangy taste initialized followed up by a hoppy, fruity aftertaste. MrChopin (643), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 15, 2008 Totally unexpected beer. Dark brown with white head that’s gone almost immediately. Scents of fruit and roast dominance. The taste is similarly sweet, though roast bitterness and some hop citrus is present and roast/medicinal aftertaste. Dry finish. Whatever this is, it tastes like a subdued coffee stout or really subdued imperial stout. mjfleming23 (24), Orlando, Florida, USA
