Aroma of nutty caramel malt with some dry hops. Taste is also dominated by some toffee and caramel malt which are well balance by some dry light bitter hops. Good body with some good carbonation. Very well done for a session ale that can still retain some character. Speedle (262), Mid-Atlantic (Tour 2007-2008), Virginia, USA

Aroma of roasted coffee with a little chocolate. Tons of coffee flavor that moves to a chocolate in the middle and back to a nice, light, and smooth coffee finish. A little thin on the body but very good. Vas19 (299), Maryland, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Oily big beer with little head retention. Floral and cocoa. Very much like a big American porter. A huge thick mouthfeel with cocoa and coffee coming through, then hops on the back end. A very good beer, just not exactly my taste. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
