Aroma is moderately sweet, apple, honey, some spice/grass, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, some grapefruit/earthy, light honey, apple. Light-medium body, some crispness, light duskiness, acidity, very drinkable. This is great! I’d like to do a side-by-side with Prima Pils. kmweaver (2483), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2007 Draft, Gaithersburg location. Pours a clear, medium golden yellow color; fluffy, bright white head with great lacing. Served very cold, with mineral and grassy / grapefruit hops slowly emerging from the aroma. Very juicy hop character in the mouthfeel (pilsener, my ass) showing a strong pale ale character: resiny, chewy grapefruit and herbal hoppiness, with a light nondescript sugar character underneath; solid hop character with minimal astringency. Medium, grassy and herbal hop finish; slightly orange. mnicole (15), asheville, North Carolina, USA

Tons of hop taste makes it different from any pilsner I’ve had in awhile; but to be expected from Dogfish! beachbum25 (802), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2007 On tap-@ Rehoboth Brew Pub. Poured a clean golden color w/little head. Definite hop aroma. A lot of hops on the front end for a pilsner! Has some grain/grass, some bread dough, but mostly hops. I didn’t get a lot of Malt balance out of this brew on the finish, kind of dry, seemed kind of one dementional to me. I’d perfer a 60 or 90 Minute to this. Not Dogfish’s best effort IMHO. Drinkable, but not much more. TomDecapolis (3203), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
