Aromas of grapes, wine, dates, and port. Slick start, creamy middle, strong finish. Tastes like a really good wine initially and then finishes more like a beer. Fantastic! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear light brown with a very small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, apple, and alcohol. Flavor of sweetness initially, followed by some acetone and alcohol. The alcohol definitely gets to you and there is a real alcohol burn in the swallow. Drinkable but is it enjoyable? Hard to say... luttonm (307), Belgrade, Serbia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 12, 2008 08 bottle. Rich, thick pour with tiny offwhite head. deep copper, looking like a heavy-handed redish lager. Nose is crisp and boozy, taste is remarkably crisp but with a heavy malt and dark sticky fruit rush. Breath through the nose and get real wafts of alcohol. Very hot. Not exactly refined but a good deal and quite interesting. I look forward to an aged bottle lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

Purchased at: Trenton Road Take Out, Fairless Hills, PA for $3.73
Aroma: wow, rich, raisins, peach, rose, autumn, leaves, mold, intoxicating.
Visuals: average label, nice 4 pack, like turkey gravy , muddy, mississippi, thick, thin white head, beautiful, sticky lace.
Taste: mostly malt up front, good hoppy finish, unbalanced in both directions, delicious, sugary, syrupy, bitter ending, good strength.
Palate: feeling of high quality, sticky, woody, long bitter finish.
Overall: Exactly what I paid for — not exactly a 120 minute IPA, but more of a mix between the 120 Minute and a Raison d’ extra. I’d have it again, for sure. very nice, but not one of my favorites. Medium value for high craft. blutt59 (2147), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pours a clear dark orange with a two-finger beige head that sticks around for the entire drink. Unreal lacework. Incredible aroma of yellow raisins, alcohol, raw cane sugar, yeast, dried fruits, candied figs. Taste is sweet malt and candy up front later balanced by spicy hops and warming alcohol. Syrupy mouthfeel. BMan1113VR (2904), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
