A decent pear. It has a sparkly quailty to it that dances in the mouth. Creamy mouthfeel also. It has a very strong bitter attack with hints of fruit and caramel, but finishes a touch flat and a touch too bitter for my liking

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours smoothly, a dark mahogany with ruby highlights, and a light tan head, fluffly, that keeps for awhile. Minimal lacing. Nose hints of red port, thick, ripe raisins. Taste is heavy on the malts, young raisins, and an earthy sugar. Palate leaves a slight but lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue. Not transcendant, but a very quaffable and fine brew.

Little aroma, nice dark brown/deep amber color, and descent head. Tastes like a sweet brown ale with belgian yeast and raisin undertones.

Mahogany pour with slight dissipating, offwhite head. Aroma is molasses and cane sugar, raisin sweetness, some tobacco leaf and a bit of roast. Flavor leans towards the molasses sweetness and a great caramel malt profile. a bit of plum or dried plums rather and other dried fruits such as raisins. finish is a little sticky and has a pleasant alcohol warming. tasty

12 oz botle, pours a smooth dark color, moderate head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, maltiness and high hop content evident. Flavor is pretty spicy as expected with a nice roasty sweet component also. Also moderately high bitterness balances out the sweet/spicy taste. Full body, not a soft palate but not too harsh, realloy fills up t he mouth with flavor. Overall very well balanced beer and very creative and complex flavor.

Dark fruit, toffee, and caramel; both in flavor and aroma. Chestnut color with a small ivory head. Malty to the very end...medium mouthfeel.

Amber with a small white head. Fruity malt aroma. Malt and toffee flavour with a tart edge.
