Pours a cloudy amber with not much head, slight lacing. Sweet and raisiny aroma. Taste of raisin, malts, sweetness overwhelms until bitter finish, some carbonation. Sticky beer. Not as enjoyable as I had hoped for though.

12oz bottle (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-Pours a dark amber with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of sweetness, caramel, fruit and malt. Taste of belgian yeast, caramel, brown sugar, and raisins. This full bodied brew is very well balanced and quite tasty.

Bottle. Not sure why I waited so long to try this one, as it is actually a pretty decent beer. Tastes like a Belgiany brown ale. Nose is brown sugar and spice. Taste is plum-like with some distinctly brown sugar notes, a touch of roastiness. Clean palate. Some chocolate comes out. Nothing too over the top, but decent nonetheless.

Botlle. Clear dark amber pour, medium carbonation. Aroma of raisins and plenty of brown sugar. Flavor was definitely better that the Raison D Extra, mellow malts, oatmeal, burnt sugar, plum and a little alcohol on the finish. Very good!

bottle 12 oz: Poured clear dark brown with a small to medium head. Smell was malty with a hint of sour. Flavor was toast and slighty sweet malt, with a hint of brown sugar, with a slight bitter/sour finish. Medium mouth feel. Overall, I really enjoyed the flavor of this brew. I would get this agian.
