Bottle. Rich mahogany color. A nice light fruit aroma. You can taste the hint of aroma, but not overdone. No aftertaste.

Medium cloudy brown body. Sweet fruits and raisins with a mild cherry kick. Drank this way to cold. Should have let it warm up. Wish they had dogfish head in MN. Have to go to Hudson, WI to get it.

Bottle. Pours murky brown with a moderate beige head. Strong aroma of raisins, sweet fruits, and hints of spice. Outrageously smooth, full mouthfeel with a mild, slow finish. Excellent Belgian Strong.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2009) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, wild berries and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, red berries, caramel and a bittersweet finish. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Superb balance. Very tasty and very nice.

Bottle. Pours a rich mahogany color. Medium sized off white head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma. Flavors of raisins, plumbs, and toffee. Very smooth. Quality beer with a thick palate and full body. The aroma and flavors really come out as the beer warms. Overall a great beer

A deep amber pour that has a wonderful aroma of fruit and malt. This beer is a good one, malty with hints of spice, Belgian yeast and hops at the finish. At 8 % this beer is very smooth and drinkable.
