A clear red beer with a fine head. The aroma is yeasty with notes of earth and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, plums, and prunes. And the body is good.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very pretty amber with a small, off-white head. Very rich, sweetish caramel aroma. Full-bodied with lots of caramel malt and some almost vinous, sherry-like accents. Disstinct sweetness but never cloying. Very subdued bitterness. 280306

Bottled. Ruby colour, small off-white head. Aroma is flowery and fruity hops, caramel and alcohol. Flavour is caramellish malty, buttery, hoppy and quite sharp alcoholic. Warming. Long grassy, vanillaish and slightly fruity aftertaste.

From the label a deep mahogany ale brewed with Belgian beet sugar, green raisins, and a sense of purpose. Rusty brown with an orange hue, headless, slightly sweet funky malt flavor, just the slightest hint of bitterness in the finish, flat ’n funky

dark amber, whispy head, sweet malt aroma, rich malt flavor, no bitterness, very smooth, hints of fruit, dates, figs, nothing over powering or strange, a fine brew, an upgrade from one to three mugs, takes faith to order a one star beer, but it was worth it

back to strange and different, some of the nice fruity character of the draft but covered by the funk, lots of complexity, slightly fumey,

This has an almost mahogany dark amber hue, a richly complex, malty, phenolic (bubbelgum), yeasty (banana), somewhat brandyish nose. The palate is unique to say the least. I’m picking up a lot of peppery, brandyish flavours, leafy hops...a very firm, lean body...very complex.
