Poured a clear, dark amber color with a one finger tan head. Lacing was minimal. Aroma of raisins, malt and some light alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt with a little brown sugar and caramel flavor on the end. Medium-heavy body with low carbonation. Pours dark amber brown with off-white head. Aroam is brown suger, raisins, toffee and sweet malt. Flavor is of sweet malt, brown suger, toffee and raisins. A pleasent surprise as it is not yeasty like most belgain strong ales. Hides alcohol very well. Would buy again.
