Gromit (449), Port Orchard, Washington, USA May 16, 2008 Very interesting... Pours a honey color with a decent head that dissipated rather quickly. Smells of coriander and the orange, quite a bit like the Belgian it’s attempting to be. Flavor is, well, like a Belgian Double, red wine, with some oak. But man, it’s very complex. Palate is thick yet crisp. Overall, I’m very impressed.

Pours copper, brownish.
Aroma is oaky, light fruity notes, there is definitely some wine traces in there.
Taste, oaky, little nutty, light caramel malts with nice notes of fruits (mainly the use of wine barrels). Pairs very well with cheese. GodOfThunder (30), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2008 A nice surprise on tap at Redlight Redlight! It poured a nice yellow-pink color, almost a light orange. Nice thick white head. The citrus comes through more in the smell and the pinot noir comes through in the taste. It’s a nice fruity beer with a twist of wine and a good alcohol kick. Overall, pretty good. dchmela (775), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 3, 2008 Draft at Redlight Redlight. Cloudy dark orange pour with a thick white head. Malty belgian triple aroma with hints of wine and orange peel. Dry malty tart flavor with hints of citrus, hops and wine. Dry fruity aftertaste with a slightly boozy bite. Good beer. bconley (40), Fern Park, Florida, USA Oct 2, 2008 Had on tap at Redlight. Had nice orange color. Very citrusy body. Malty towads the end. Also very strong alcohol taste towards the end... not bad, but not my fave... sinkr (138), Lusby, Maryland, USA Oct 2, 2008 750->tulip: Pours a huge, frothy, white head that exhibits fair lacing atop a murky, heavily particulate dark orange body. Aroma of green apples and sour cherries with a taste of pinot noir midway thru the flavor. The body is medium, the texture is thin, but oily, average carbonation. The flavor’s duration is long, moderately sweet and lightly acidic.
