can I tell the difference in a blind taste test. perhaps, a bit of juniper in the aroma here and a little more ethanol noticeable on nose as well. Also has the gin like qualities others have noted. It does seem like a different beer than the 90, and having likely consumed upwards of 50 of the former, I am somewhat confident in my taste on this one

Bottle at Chriso’s Kook Tasting 09. Thanks Chris. Lovely aroma. Gold colour, amber, slight haze. Lasting beige head. Too sweet in the mouth. The finish is not hoppy and not bitter enough for me. Too sweet overall.

Very tasty and balanced. Nice hop aroma and not too bitter. It’s delicious but can be a little cloying. Definitely not a session beer.

Pours pure gold with a medium sized head. Aroma is citrus floral hops. Medium in body with a good amount of carbonation. Flavor is primarily grapefruit and caramel malt with a bit of bitterness and alcohol. Finish is pretty smooth considering the hop quantities.

Pours out amber with lots of creamy head. Taste is sweet and hoppy. Flavors of caramel, bread, yeast, floral, and pine. Taste like bottle cond. 90min. Crisp and sticky creamy finish. Balanced and somewhat complex. Good brew.More regular than special.

750 ml bottle from redlight redlight. Pours a bright cloudy amber. The nose has a lot of bread in it with some resiny hops behind. Also some hints of caramel, which comes out even more in the flavor. The hops are surprisingly mellow. Not bad but strangely balanced.

The aroma has both pine and citrus hops as well as malt and a touch of earth and smoke. The appearance is amber with a large head for the style. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall not a bad beer but definitely not an IIPA.

Really cool to see that dogfish can do so much with IPA on so many levels. This beer poured a great cloudy amber with a head that fades quickly. The aroma of orange and other citrus blends in with some sweetness on the tongue. The bitterness is lighter than I thought it would be. The texture is great due to the unfiltered nature of this beer. Smooth and a bit thick and just a light carbination.
