| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Pours a golden color with light bits of particulate and a moderately sized white head. Aroma is white grape, honey, and spice. No nose of chocolate which was surprising. Taste is of light cocoa, light fruit, honey, and some subtle spiciness. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth and full bodied. I didn’t detect the alcohol but there was an ever so slight burn in the throat to let you know the chilies were in their. Overall, this is a pretty solid beer. Wasn’t what I expect, but good nonetheless.

Flavor lightly sweet, incredibly pleasant, of light chile and hints of cacao. Very fun and tasty! Quick, clean, uniquely flavored finish. Definitely worth the try and easy to drink 750ml on your own on a relaxing evening while snowed in. acblue (66), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange/gold, with a white head. Aroma is fruit, sugar, and some spices. Flavor is fruit, and sugar, with some chile burn as you swallow. Medium body. Not bad, but I was expecting more, with the interesting ingredients used. sloth (1684), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Pours a small tan head with good retention and laceing. Hazy gold amber color. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily and coating. Fruity nose with notes of honey and spice, maybe a bit of cinnamon. Cocoa i did not really taste, was really looking for that, peppery spiceyness was neat, light earthy and vinous notes too boot. Dry, peppery finish. Bottles procured @statelineliquors. Interesting brew but somewhat dissapointing in flavors and aromas.
