| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2009 I split this with a couple of friends from South America over a meal. They really thought it was incredible but then they went back to Corona Extra.
Bottle poured into tulip glasses produced two fingers worth of off white head that trailed to a thin lace. The body was this beautiful looking reddish orange in color.
I will say I was looking for a little more chocolate in the nose than I got. It was sweet and peppery to me but other than that the aromas were had to describe. The flavor is what I am beginning to expect from this type of brews DFH do an eclectic blend of spices and ingredient’s. I got honey, coco and chili pepper the flavors went extremely well with my meal. It had a medium feel in my mouth with good carbonation.
It was a good drinking beer but I would draw the line on one glass with a meal or the flavors would kill your taste buds

Flavor lightly sweet, incredibly pleasant, of light chile and hints of cacao. Very fun and tasty! Quick, clean, uniquely flavored finish. Definitely worth the try and easy to drink 750ml on your own on a relaxing evening while snowed in. acblue (66), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange/gold, with a white head. Aroma is fruit, sugar, and some spices. Flavor is fruit, and sugar, with some chile burn as you swallow. Medium body. Not bad, but I was expecting more, with the interesting ingredients used. sloth (1687), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Pours a small tan head with good retention and laceing. Hazy gold amber color. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily and coating. Fruity nose with notes of honey and spice, maybe a bit of cinnamon. Cocoa i did not really taste, was really looking for that, peppery spiceyness was neat, light earthy and vinous notes too boot. Dry, peppery finish. Bottles procured @statelineliquors. Interesting brew but somewhat dissapointing in flavors and aromas.
