| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2003 Had on tap at Taco Mac in Athens Ga. Nice rich malty aroma with a bit of nuts; great lacing with an off-white thick head. Dark copper appearance. Good solid nutty, malty flavor - just the right amount of sweetness for a bock. kwoeltje (1328), Manchester, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2003 deep brown with hints of red. Decent tan head. Sweet malt flavor you'd expect from a bock, but distinct smoke as well. Unusual bock. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2003 Caramel brown - in the color and the taste. Thicker malts, smooth and nutty. Finish was burnt sugar and mostly dry. Nice, but too sweet for me. This has got to win an award for wildest label! Rockinout (946), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2003 Great label- looks like a psychedelic concert poster from the late '60's, gave it an extra point overall because of this. Reddish brown color, darker toward the middle. Semi-sweet malty nose. Has a nutty(?) taste like no other bock I've had. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2003 A really nice take on the bock style-not as sticky as a lot of them are. A nice, lightly malty nose, an initial maltiness followed by some hops in the finish. Nicely balanced, not too heavy-almost a session bock. Also, possibly the only bock drinkable in the Atlanta heat.
