Commercial Description:
An overwhelming earthy floral aroma leaps out of the glass and slaps you in the face due to the huge amounts of whole leaf Golding hops used to dry hop the beer. A spicy hop flavor arises from late flavor additions in the kettle and through more whole leaf hop cones in our hop-back. A combination of select specialty barleys imparts a soft, fruity maltiness.

A very nice IPA, and one of the better brews from Dogwood. Standard IPA -- citrusy, floral, hops, with some sweetness.

Very cloudy dark copper color with a big thick off white fully retained head and great lacing. Aroma is fresh hops, earth, and light perfume. Flavor is initially sweet, malty and earth. The finish is nicely bitter hops and spicy. A well crafted IPA.

IPA night courtesy of Ross sending me these terrific brews. Dogwood got a giant headout of bottle. Looks good, smells good and tastes great. Nothing better after a long hot day than great beer. This is seriously underrated in my opinion. Great hops/malts sweet tea undertone. Good southern beer!!!! The head on this one lasts a long time. Again, much much better than average score. I would pursue this one if I hadn’t just finished it.

Large creamy/rocky off-white head. Hazy gold body. Cascadey grapefruit with orange and caramel aroma. Flavor is spicy and has grassy grapefruit hops, and brown sugar sweetness. Very good!

A very drinkable IPA. Smooth on the palate. Smells florally and almost like tomatoes. Looks pretty and golden. Tastes excellent. The malt is interesting in this one. Very cedary. Not a bad thing. Could have a more sticky maltiness to it. Hops are excellent in the nose and mouth. Standard and very drinkable. Grat

Large white head, excellent retention with a plethora of stringy, sticky lace. Hazy copper color. Flowery hop nose hints of citrus too. Med/light body. Light malt flavors, vinous notes with a mild astringency. Finish is medium dry, light hop bite. I expected more from this brew, not sure why though?

Murky orange. Very nice big hoppy aroma. Taste is dominated by hops - very dry, with an on toastyness to it. Thanks the Springslicker for this.

On tap at the Flying Saucer in Charlotte. WOW, this beer is dry hopped to death! It also had a very fruity aroma and back that made it very good. Reminiscent of Catawba Valley’s IPA with its subtle fruitiness. Excellent.
